Job summary

Leonard Truck Outfitters in Lavonia, GA is seeking an Installation Technician responsible for installing a wide range of aftermarket automotive parts on trucks and commercial vehicles. You will perform quality checks, wire electronic systems, and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and prior installer experience. Training and growth opportunities are available, with travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational certification or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
• Proven experience as an automotive parts installer or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Installs aftermarket automotive parts and accessories per specifications (bed liners, running boards, tonneau covers, hitch, grill guards, toolboxes).
• Performs pre- and post-install quality checks.
• Mounts and balances wheels and tires; aligns as needed.
• Installs lighting systems for improved visibility.
• Troubleshoots and resolves installation issues.
• Connects/wires electronic components (backup cameras, GPS, alarms).
• Assists other Leonard locations as needed to meet business demands.
• Travels to other company locations within reasonable distance.
