Job summary

Requires a Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification; content area certificate required for issuance. Elementary certification preferred.

• ACT 168: 90-day provisional employment for newly hired CBSD employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, direct, and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort).
