Job summary

Els for Autism Foundation in Jupiter, FL seeks a full-time, exempt role to design and implement programs for transition-age youth and adults with autism. You will work with a team to plan instruction, place participants in paid employment, and support families.

The position emphasizes ABA-informed teaching, collaboration with employers, and ongoing client coordination. Occasional evening/weekend needs and travel between sites are possible.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Education, Rehabilitation, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching/coaching individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Experience securing paid employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create groupings and natural support systems for participants (mentors, pairs, one-on-one).
• Utilize explicit and systematic instruction with ABA within instructional procedures.
• Develop visual/communication supports and refer for clinical services as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor and professionals on interviews, assessments and orientation.
• Assist participants with resumes, job applications, interviews and on-the-job support.
• Coordinate onboarding, accommodations, and ongoing communication with hosts.
