Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years experience working with children with special needs.
• CPR and First Aid preferred.
• Core District Special Education Paraprofessional training or requirements must be acquired within 36 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional programs and provide instructional assistance for students in individual, small and large group settings.
• Help and support students with special needs including emotional issues and life skills.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and support behavioral goals.
• Collaborate with educators and administrators regarding academic and behavioral issues.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA and assist with data collection and records.
