Job summary

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs seeks an Autistic Support Paraprofessional to assist licensed staff in implementing goals for students on the autism spectrum. You will work one-on-one and with small groups, monitor progress, and support behavior management under supervision.

Responsibilities include data collection, attendance, and assisting with various classroom tasks. This is a full-time position at Antelope Trails Elementary School with competitive pay and benefit information

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students with autism is preferred.
• Ability to follow teachers' instructions and adapt to behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Reports for work as scheduled and adheres to daily routines.
• Assists licensed staff with autism programming and goals.
• Provides one-on-one and small-group instructional support.
• Monitors and documents student progress and behavior data.
• Assists with classroom activities, materials, and logistics.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows district policies.
