Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand/walk for extended periods is needed.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors
