Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Vacaville, CA is looking for a dedicated Behavior Interventionist to provide one-to-one behavior intervention services under supervision by a BCBA. The role involves implementing programs across self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and crisis areas, and collecting progress data.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and data collection for the Behavior Support Plan, while supporting clients with personal care tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
