Job summary

Easterseals is seeking an Autism Specialist to deliver individualized, community-based and in-home support to individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder. You will identify needs, develop tailored support plans, and help clients build skills to participate in their communities and increase independence.

The role requires extensive travel across our counties, with some evenings and varied hours to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, specialized training in ASD.
• Minimum of one year of direct experience providing related services to individuals with autism, within the past five years.
• ASD-focused training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, community-based and in-home autism support to individuals and families.
• Develop and implement support plans, help clients build skills and increase independence, and review progress with families.
