Job summary

Resolute Care, LLC. in Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide daily care to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and medication reminders, following individualized care plans. You will support communication, social skills, routines, and community participation, maintain a safe home environment, complete daily notes and incident reports, and collaborate with managers, nursing staff,

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals who have autism or developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
• Must be compassionate, patient and able to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Able to follow care plans and instructions precisely.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must pass background checks and meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, hygiene, meals, and medication reminders.
• Support communication, social skills, routines, and community activities.
• Follow individualized care plans, behavioral strategies, and safety procedures.
• Provide patient, respectful support during behavioral or emotional challenges.
• Report changes in behavior, health, or client needs to the supervisor.
• Complete daily notes, medication records, incident reports, and required documentation.
• Encourage independence, dignity, and community participation.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and work as part of the team.
