UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a personal assistant to support a young person with autism in Drighlington. The role involves accompanying to activities, supporting personal care and toileting, and supervising to ensure safety.

The PA will provide assistance with transport and community access, applying a therapeutic approach when managing dysregulation. Evening or weekend hours available, 4 hours weekly, paid at £12.40 per hour (gross).

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working with children, SEND experience highly desirable.
• Reliable and capable of ensuring safety and engagement.
• Good communication and ability to supervise at all times.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain calm, supportive interactions.

Aufgaben

• Accompany our child to activities in the community and encourage independence.
• Assist with personal care, including toileting and dressing when needed.
• Supervise the child at all times and support calm, regulated behavior.
• Help with transportation and accompany the family on outings.
• Engage in social and leisure activities suitable to interests.
