Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support a young boy with autism on Saturdays, 9:00am–1:00pm or 10:00am–2:00pm, in BD11. The role involves active, outdoor play, personal care, and close supervision to ensure safety.

You will work 1:1 with the child, following parents’ routines, building trust and promoting communication and independence through structured activities. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: Full driving licence and access to a car with appropriate insurance.
• Willingness to learn about autism; experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a 4-year-old autistic boy at home and during outings.
• Assist with personal care (including nappies) and safety supervision.
• Encourage communication, independence and confidence through play and routine activities.
