Job summary

MOUNTAIN RIDGE PRIMARY SCHOOL in Gerrardstown, West Virginia seeks an AU Mentor/Aide to support students with autism. You will assist teachers in daily instructional and non-instructional activities, manage behavior, and help with communication, daily living, and recreational skills. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to assist with daily living tasks and behavior support.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in routine classroom operation.
• Support behavior management and student engagement.
• Help with toileting and activities as needed.
• Load/unload wheelchair-bound students and assist with transportation.
• Maintain classroom and prepare bulletin boards.
