Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in daily instructional and non-instructional activities.
• Provide support in behavior management, communication, daily living and academic skills.
• Assist with toileting as required.
• Load/unload wheelchair students on bus and supervise transportation.
• Maintain classroom and help with records and lesson notes.
• Support small groups when the teacher is unavailable.
