Job summary

Sylvania is seeking two Full-time, 10-month instructional assistants to support teachers at Bucher Elementary School and Reidenbaugh Elementary School in Lititz, PA. You will help implement daily lesson plans and IEP goals, working with students of varying abilities in a classroom setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–4:00 PM. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with strong communication, teamwork and basic technology skills desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Technology/computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional support to meet daily lesson plans and IEP goals
• Work with students with varying ability levels in a classroom setting
• Communicate effectively with teachers, supervisors and parents
• Adapt to changing environments and solve problems creatively
