Job summary

Blessed-Sacrament Catholic School seeks a Part-time Student Support Assistant for Autism Services. You will provide individualized support to students with autism, helping them access instruction, assignments, and assessments in a loving, faith-centered environment.

You will work with teachers, families, and professionals to promote independence, self-regulation, and positive peer interactions, while safeguarding student dignity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related fields preferred.
• Experience with autism support or related field is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to students with autism as directed by teachers or administrator.
• Assist students in accessing classroom instruction and assessments.
• Help students develop independence and self-advocacy skills.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and records.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families.
