Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide discipline-specific treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders, including evaluation, planning and documentation. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized goals, coach families, and support home programs to advance speech-language outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a California SLP license, ASHA CCC-SLP, and CPR

Qualifications

Master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
California SLP license required.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required.
CPR certification required.
1 year of consulting experience with infants/young children with developmental delays including autism.

Responsibilities

Evaluates children referred for speech-language therapy using established evaluation procedures and standardized assessments.
Develops individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans and goals.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for consultation.
Coaches families to incorporate new skills at home.
Implements home programs to achieve therapy goals.
Instructs on use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
Maintains documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and exit summaries.
