Job summary

Easterseals Southern California seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide discipline-specific treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders. You will evaluate, plan, document, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized goals from the ITP.

The role emphasizes coaching families, coordinating services, maintaining up-to-date documentation, and staying current with ASD research and early intervention practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and California SLP license.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and CPR certification.
• 1 year of consulting experience with infant/young children with developmental delays including autism.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children referred for speech-language therapy using standard assessments.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals with the ITP.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and coach families.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and exit summaries.
• Stay current on autism, early intervention, and related practices.
