Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide discipline-specific treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders. The role involves evaluation, planning, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support individual goals identified in the ITP.

You will coach families to implement therapy at home and coordinate services as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and California SLP license required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification and CPR certification required.
• 1 year of consulting experience with infants/young children and autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children referred for speech-language therapy using standard procedures.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for consultations.
• Coach families to apply strategies at home and in daily routines.
• Provide home programs and guidance on adaptive equipment usage.
• Complete documentation (evaluations, progress notes, exit summaries).
