BlazerJobs, Inc. seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an autistic support classroom in Allentown on a contract basis through June 10, 2027. You will provide targeted instruction to middle school students and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires PA SPED certification for middle school, experience with autism, strong IEP and differentiation skills, and excellent communication. Full-time schedule, 35 hours/week.

Qualifications

• PA Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement (middle school).
• Experience working with students with autism or similar needs.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and differentiate instruction.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality special education instruction to a small group of 8 middle school students with autism.
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs.
• Participate in planning meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain a structured and nurturing classroom setting.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress.
