Qualifications

• Supports IEP implementation for students with autism.
• Provides 1:1 or small group instruction and reinforcement.
• Helps students participate in general education settings.
• Collects behavioral data for IEP review and progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction and reinforcement of skills.
• Support inclusion by helping students participate in general education settings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed.
• Monitor and redirect student behavior using positive strategies.
• Provide emotional support, breaks, and redirection as needed.
• Collect behavioral data for progress review by the team.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising teacher about student progress.
