Job summary

MUSC Children's Health is seeking a research assistant to support multiple autism studies across South Carolina. The role focuses on recruiting families, coordinating with agencies, and assisting with data collection and study logistics. Some remote work may be available in the future.

Responsibilities include participant coordination, IRB communications, and collaboration with the PI to ensure smooth study operations. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant program experience.
• Experience with regulatory information related to human subjects research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participant involvement throughout the research process, including registration, consent, scheduling, and procedures; administer and score DAS, WISC, WPPSI, PPVT, EVT and SB.
• Support the PI with annual reports and IRB communications; provide data entry and protocol documentation assistance; oversee training of student staff.
• Help recruit participants via statewide agencies and organize community recruitment events; support social media recruitment strategies.
• Contribute to development and planning for new studies, including site qualification visits and grant preparation.
• Other duties as assigned by the PI.
