Vista Elementary in Kennewick, WA, seeks a Paraeducator for the Tier II Autism Program. You will work 6 hours per day, 180 days per year, supporting students with autism in general and special education settings alongside staff.

Salary ranges from $23.15 to $26.65 per hour, with up to $.60/hour extra based on college credits earned. Qualifications include a high school diploma and an AA degree or equivalent college credits; duties include instructional support, documentation, and collaboration

Qualificações

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• AA degree or equivalent college credits as noted in requirements.
• Ability to use basic computer programs to maintain records and timecard information.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct supervision and instruction to students with autism and other special needs.
• Assist teachers with clerical or instructional tasks and data collection.
• Implement prescribed strategies for behavioral interventions and monitor student progress.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to district policies and procedures.
