Brooke County Schools seeks an Aide/Autism Mentor (Itinerate) at Wellsburg Primary School. The role runs 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and includes bus duties, lunchroom supervision, and direct student support for autistic students. Training levels and progressions (Aide I–IV) apply, with emphasis on safety and classroom assistance.

Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, passing WV competency, and ability to work with children. Term is 200 days with competitive district salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required and pass WV state competency.
• Aptitude for working with students and teachers required.
• Must have physical ability and stamina for essential functions.

Responsabilités

• Aide in lunchroom monitoring and cleanup as required.
• Assist students in movement about building and on/off the bus.
• Assist with bathroom facilities and related needs.
• Operate office machines and perform clerical tasks for teachers.
• Supervise on the playground and in indoor activities as needed.
