Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking a Job Developer to provide individualized employment services for individuals with autism, supporting preparation, securing, and retention of meaningful work.

The role collaborates with participants, families, and team members to build personalized employment plans and ongoing coaching to achieve employment goals. The position is full-time and hourly wage starts at $24.

Qualifications

• ACRE certification or equivalent within 6 months of employment.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Promotes inclusive, competitive employment opportunities for individuals across diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Meets with individuals to identify job interests, strengths, and goals, creating personalized employment plans.
• Conducts skill assessments through formal tools and direct observation in community work settings to determine ideal job matches and workplace conditions.
• Builds and maintains relationships with local employers, businesses, and community organizations.
• Provides employers with information, training, and resources to address concerns and highlight benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.
• Assists with job development and negotiation to support job retention and satisfaction.
