Job summary

League School for Autism in Walpole, MA seeks a Job Coach to work 40 hours/week, 9:00am–5:00pm, supporting residential students in after-school community work internships. Pay starts at $22.50–$26.40/hour. The role helps shape the position and establish best practices for student employment.

You will work independently with limited supervision, communicate with internship supervisors, families and staff, and ensure coordinated vocational experiences for each student.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or related training; experience with autistic individuals preferred.
• CPR, Safety Care and First Aid certifications (training provided).
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass background checks, including fingerprint screening.

Responsibilities

• Implements lessons and tasks per IEP in classroom and community settings.
• Drives League School vehicles to community job sites.
• Supervises students at community sites and provides job coaching.
• Liaisons with community employers and League School coordinators.
• Collects and records data on student performance related to IEP.
• Maintains health and safety; coordinates with School Nurse on incidents.
• Participates in trainings and team meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
