• Experience: None
• Ability to lift a student up to 40 pounds without assistance; perform 2-person lift for students over 40 pounds
• Knowledge of disability areas and special education practices; connect curriculum to learner; maintain behavior management

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
• Develops and implements Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for students on caseload
• Collaborates with general education teachers and parents to deliver services
• Maintains lesson plans per policies and directives
• Delivers specialized instruction according to IEPs
• Monitors progress and reports to parents/guardians
• Adheres to district special education policies and federal/state regulations
• Maintains data-driven behavior management plans and FBAs/BIPs
• Communicates effectively with parents
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrator
