Job summary

Wings Learning Center in California is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support teachers across elementary, middle, and secondary students. The role involves collaborating with Education Specialists, Occupational and Speech Therapists and administrative staff to implement curriculum and classroom activities.

The position requires completing 48 college units or a high school diploma with Wings Learning Center assessment; experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Completion of 48 units of higher education OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of Wings Learning Center Assessment.
• Experience preferred but not necessary; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in the classroom with Elementary, Middle School, and Secondary students.
• Collaborate with Education Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and administrative staff.
• Assist in preparing and implementing curriculum, supporting students using positive behavior interventions, recording data on behaviors and IEP goals, and participate in classroom meetings.
