Job summary

TrulyHired in Lexington, MA, seeks a 1.0 FTE Special Education ILP Teacher to support students with autism spectrum disorders in academic, social language, motor, self-help, leisure, and life skills.

You will provide intensive, data-driven instruction using 1:1 or 1:2 ratios, apply ABA methodologies, coordinate with general educators, and supervise classroom staff. Immediate start; 184-day calendar; salary per LEA Unit A contract.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in special education preferred.
• DESE certification in severe special needs required; other certifications considered if pursued within the first year of employment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with experience delivering 1:1 and small group instruction; ABA training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, systemic instruction in 1:1 or 1:2 settings.
• Teach critical skills across settings to generalize academic, social, language, health and life skills.
• Apply Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) methodologies throughout the day.
• Utilize data to inform IEP development and assessments.
• Coordinate communication with general education staff and administrators.
• Supervise classroom support staff and review student data weekly.
