Job summary

Shrub Oak International School is looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students with complex developmental and sensory needs in Lake Mohegan, NY. This position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $116,000 annually and requires a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, along with effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of clinical experience, particularly with autism spectrum disorder, and strong communication skills. Work is on-site and involves direct interaction with students.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred.
• Physical requirements: able to ambulate around the campus and react quickly during student crisis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments to evaluate students’ functional, sensory, and daily living skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and caregivers regarding progress.
