GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE GULF COAST INC is seeking an Autism Services Evaluator to conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments for ASD across ages. You will administer standardized tests, interview families, and document findings in clinical reports.

You will collaborate with psychologists, pediatricians, speech and occupational therapists, arrange services, and stay current through trainings. Compassionate care is essential as you support families and communities.

Formación

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, psychiatry, speech pathology, or related field specializing in developmental disorders.
• Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments for ASD or related developmental disorders.
• Knowledge of a wide range of standardized diagnostic tools and assessments used in diagnosing ASD.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate complex information to patients, families, and colleagues.
• Compassion, patience, and understanding of ASD-affected individuals and families.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and interpret standardized tests, including ADOS, ADI-R, cognitive and adaptive assessments.
• Conduct interviews with patients and families to gather developmental history and observations.
• Document assessment results and diagnoses accurately in clinical reports.
• Collaborate with psychologists, pediatricians, therapists and other specialists for comprehensive evaluation.
• Arrange services and identify resources for families as needed.
• Provide social support and expand the family’s social network as appropriate.
• Attend trainings and conferences to stay current in autism practices.
• Participate in required record reviews by funding sources.
• Represent and promote Goodwill through community involvement.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and students.
• Observe safety procedures and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain regular attendance per Goodwill policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
