Job summary

Ability Builders in Richmond, VA is seeking a compassionate Psychometrician to lead autism assessments for children and adolescents (ages 1–21). The role integrates test results, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations to produce family-centered reports and treatment recommendations.

You will join an interdisciplinary team, conduct evaluations using evidence-based tools, and provide feedback sessions with families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited institution (required).
• Experience conducting autism and developmental assessments preferred (training provided).
• Familiarity with evidence-based assessment tools and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.

Responsibilities

• Select, administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological assessments.
• Conduct autism and differential diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools and methodologies.
• Integrate behavioral observations, test data, and clinical interviews into cohesive reports.
