Job summary

WORK, Inc. is seeking a Community Training Specialist to support four individuals with Autism in their new home in the Kingston area, MA, with proximity to RT.3 and Rt. 44. You will promote social inclusion and empower the lives of young adults through mentorship and care.

The role requires at least one year in human services; internships and volunteer work may count. Preference for candidates with autism experience; teamwork and independence are essential traits.

Qualifications

• One year experience in human services required; internships/volunteer opportunities accepted in lieu of work experience.
• Preference for candidates with direct experience with developmental disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Candidate should be compassionate, creative, a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing opportunities for individuals to participate in their local community.
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship.
• Prepare and implement individual program goals, service plans, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Nurture positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and service providers.
