Job summary

WORK Inc. is seeking Community Training Specialists to support 4 individuals with Autism moving into a new home in the Kingston area with proximity to RT.3 and Rt. 44. The role focuses on promoting social inclusion, mentorship, and enhancing quality of life for young adults.

Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in developmental disabilities or autism, and the position offers a competitive wage with a 16-point benefits package and potential annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• One year experience in the human service field; internships or volunteer opportunities can substitute for work experience.
• Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing opportunities for individuals to be part of their local community.
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship.
• Preparation and implementation of program goals, individual service plans, progress notes and treatment plans.
• Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
• Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
