Job summary

Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. in Tucson seeks a Non-Certified Classroom Teacher for the Elementary Campus to implement our curriculum and support students on the autism spectrum.

You will work under campus leadership to deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and collaborate with a classroom team. You will apply ABA teaching strategies, provide coaching to support staff, and help create a positive and structured learning environment to promote student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with classroom teaching and ABA strategies in a school setting.
• Enrollment in AZACS Teaching Certification program required after degree.
• Mastery of best practices in autism education and ABA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead teacher in a classroom with a team.
• Ensure staff implement instructional strategies and lessons as planned.
• Maintain safe learning environment and plan weekly lessons aligned to state standards.
• Provide daily feedback and data-driven instructional decisions.
• Communicate with parents per AZACS guidelines.
• Contribute to IEP development and student progress.
• Assist with substitute planning and general duties as assigned.
