Optum in the United States is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to review ABA treatment requests and provide autism education to families. This telephonic, remote role supports providers, coordinates benefits, and guides care across the treatment plan.

You will work Monday–Friday within CST business hours and may work from home nationwide. Required licensure (LBA/BCBA or clinical license), 2+ years in behavioral health, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted clinical license as listed in requirements.
• 2+ years of experience in a behavioral health environment.
• Experience with children/adolescents on the autism spectrum.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Teams, Word, and Outlook.
• Dedicated workspace with high-speed internet at home.

Responsabilités

• Review diagnostic evaluations to ensure valid diagnoses.
• Obtain clinical information from providers for ABA requests.
• Determine necessity of additional ABA sessions per guidelines.
• Manage outpatient cases through treatment plans.
• Coordinate benefits and transitions between care areas.
• Identify value-adding opportunities to treatment plans and consult with staff.
• Educate parents/caregivers about ABA treatment and benefits.
• Quote benefits and provide referrals as needed.
