Job summary

MaineHealth Behavioral Health in Maine is seeking an Educational Technician III to provide instruction and behavioral support in a home/community based program for 1-3 year olds with autism. You will work under supervision to help children achieve communication, play, social, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals.

Requirements include 90 credits, Maine DOE certification (or within 90 days), and a DOE fingerprinting check. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 90 credits of approved study required.
• Certification as an Education Technician III from the Maine Department of Education or must obtain within 90 days of start date.
• DOE fingerprinting required.

• Under the supervision of the Special Education Teacher and Director, support achievement of communication, play, socialization, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals.
