Job summary

The New England Center for Children in Southborough, MA is seeking an Autism Behavior Technician to join our residential program. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using ABA and support students with autism daily.

We provide full training, paid coaching, and opportunities for growth. A High School diploma, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license are required; MAP/CALM training preferred. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Compassion, patience and dedication to help autistic students who engage in challenging behaviors.
• Valid Driver’s License with personal vehicle.
• American Red Cross CPR (can be completed with us during your first 6 months).
• NECC CALM training — Physical and Verbal De-escalation training.
• Medication Administration training (ability to get MAP Certified).

Responsibilities

• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills (ABA).
• Build positive relationships and celebrate every success.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and clinicians.
• Assist with educational program design and IEP development.
• Receive paid training and coaching.
