Job summary

At Centria Healthcare, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to become Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA, applying evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, so experience is not required. The role involves light to moderate physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, and it offers a starting pay of $19–$20 per

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test required (if not current, must obtain).
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to physically move and assist children up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce challenging behaviors.
• Engage with families and maintain a supportive, positive environment.
