Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one interventions under a BCBA's guidance. You will learn and implement behavior plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety and well-being.

Comprehensive training will be provided. The role requires physical stamina to assist children, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and completion of onboarding with certification opportunities (RBT).

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child development.
