Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in the United States to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a supportive attitude.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors while maintaining safety and support for children and staff.
• Be physically active; able to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
