Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Michigan to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

This role requires patience and teamwork; training is provided. You may need to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as clients move during sessions. Pay range is $17–$20 per hour. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism and their development.
• 18+ years of age and able to meet physical requirements.
• High school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Operate under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Support clients who may move or be carried up to 50 pounds during sessions.
