Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behaviour Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behaviour intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviours. We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required.

You should be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range: $19–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and adapt strategies to individual goals.
