Job summary

Centria Autism is looking for enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team to support child progress and family goals.
• Provide comprehensive training and growth opportunities as part of a dedicated team.
