Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Kentucky to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and expect patience, compassion, and teamwork. Physical activity is involved, with weight-bearing tasks up to 50 pounds and movement throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when supporting children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team and maintain supportive communication.
• Age 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid cert and TB test obtainable if not current.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Provide patient, supportive, and safe care in a team environment.
• Participate in training and adapt to clients with autism.
