Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide training and a supportive team environment. The role is on-site in the Adrian, Michigan area with a pay range of $17-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to support each child’s progress.
