Centria Autism in Melrose, MA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; you need passion, patience, and teamwork. The role involves standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and daily engagement

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
Passionate about helping children with autism.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
Help reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring child safety and engagement.
Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress and adapt strategies.
