Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Candidates should be passionate, patient, and able to work well in a team. Training is provided; you may need to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test within the last year.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress under guidance.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
