Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, guiding them through individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

You will need patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team. Training is provided, and physical tasks include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and various movements as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive environment for children and families.
