Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians in Loganville, GA to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while decreasing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience is required. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Aim to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Contribute to a safe and positive environment for clients.
