Job summary

Centria Autism in Albany, Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while remaining patient, compassionate, and a strong team player.

Training is provided. This role includes physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a pay range of $19–$24

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive environment and collaborate with the BCBA and team.
• Assist with physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
